Heading out to my next camp

Waiting at Nairobi Wilson airport.It will be a short flight to the Rhino camp.I will miss our two guides at the Ambosili Camp.Last night's safari excusion we saw a gorgeous chettah and followed him for a while.

  I have made more detailed journal entries in my laptop and will copy and paste when I get a chance.

Well it took a while but…. I"M HERE!!!…I arrived in Amsterdam on time and was able to take advantage of KLM's special lounges for those that bought BUSINESS class tickets (which I upgraded to ;-) )…I ate some food and watched a few episodes of STRIKE BACK that I downloaded in order to keep me somewhat occupied while I had some waiting time.Sooo my flight to Nairobi was delayed over 2 hours due to electrical issues :-(.We had already boarded but was told to DEboard since the a/c of the plane was going to be turned off while the repairs were being done.I sent a couple of messages to GAMEWATCHERS to let them that I'd be 2 hours late (which I found out they got).ANyway once we got underway I just EMBELLISHED in BUSINESS CLASS :-)…oh man it was niiiiiice :-D…great food and wine and all the niceties that come with it…and to be ale to turn my seat into a bed at a touch of a button was VERY cool…and I needed the naps while in flight…
  Arrived in Nairobi at 11:00pm…was able to rush through immigration and customs…get my bag and HOPE that I'd find my ride waiting for me at the door entrance of the airport….oh MAN there were DOZENS of people holding signs but I quickly found my guys holding my name in bold letters :-D…VREY nice guys and one gave me a nice glossy brochure about GAMEWATCHERS and my itinerary…ANyway my overnight hotel (called EKA hotel) was only 10 minutes away and is only 2 years old….VERY fancy :-P and modern…and GATED/GUARDED so no worries there.
  Tomorrow morning I'm being picked up at 8am to start my safari :-)….I'm SOO looking forward to go in country...

Just landed at Schipol in Amsterdam…flight went really well and comfy :-)..I sure was glad that I got the extra leg room seats and in a few hours I'm going to experience how the 1% flies LOL…and because I upgraded to BUSINESS CLASS I am able to enjoy the KLM lounge and free WI FI :-)…So my flight to NAIROBI is at 11:15am which is in 4 hours >.< …So right now I SHOULD be in bed but it's daylight outside…THIS is new to me and hopefully won't tire me out later and that I will adapt quickly…Anyway I'll hopefully will be able to post something later on ;-)

Well the day has come...getting my packing done and camera gear as well :-) ...Getting picked up at 1:45pm today...My flight takes off at 5:35 pm and I am supposed to land in Amsterdam at around  4:30am their time ...

Blogger has an app

Just realized that Blogger has an app which will make it a lot easier to post my adventures :-)...just 2 more days left and I'm very excited.

   Today I set up a blog to write down all my adventures when I take off on the 25th. I'm pretty much all ready with my necessary meds and pills so as not to catch any diseases that are indigenous to the area.I do have to get my camera gear ready and clean the sensors which I'll do momentarily.Anyway it won't be long now.I just hope I can get photos like this one when I'm over there ;-)
